Woodland Daily Democrat, NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT CALL FOR MAINTENANCE PURPOSES SACRAMENTO RIVER WEST SIDE LEVEE DISTRICT PRINCIPAL PLACE OF BUSINESS: GRIMES, CALIFORNIA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at the Regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Sacramento River West Side Levee District held on June 22, 2016 an assessment was levied in the amount of $0.739 per $100.00 of assessment valuation as shown on the Sacramento River West Side Levee District Assessment List with a minimum assessment of $25 per parcel, the assessment being in the approximate total amount of $453,000 for maintenance, repair, and operation of the District's drainage works and incidental expenses of the District. The assessment was ordered to be paid in two installments to be delinquent after December 10, 2016 and April 10, 2017, the assessment to be collected in conjunction with the county taxes in Yolo and Colusa Counties and to be reflected as a separate item upon the respective tax bills of each county. Any portion of the assessment remaining unpaid on the respective date of delinquency will bear a penalty and interest in the same manner as delinquent taxes levied by the respective county.
