PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Development of 70 Affordable Senior apartment dwelling units made up of 58 single story attached cottages and 12 stacked apartment units within a 2-story building and a 3,310 square foot recreation building on a 3.7 acre site was previously approved in November 2013. Since that project approval, the City of American Canyon designed and installed a new public sidewalk across the frontage of this property. The sidewalk included a two-foot wide curbside planting strip which required an additional two feet of right-of-way from the Valley View property. The clubhouse building is set back the same distance from the roadway as originally planned, but the sidewalk project has moved the property boundary two feet closer to the building.
