Berkshires Marketplace, REQUEST FOR SERVICES (RFS) Designer Services The Town of Clarksburg (the "Owner") is seeking the services of a qualified "Designer" within the meaning of M.G.L Chapter 7C, § 44, to provide professional design services during the feasibility study and schematic design phases of the Clarksburg Elementary School project (the "Proposed Project"), located at 777 West Crossroads, Clarksburg, Massachusetts. The selection of a Designer will be made by the Designer Selection Panel of the Massachusetts School Building Authority ("MSBA") in accordance with the MSBA's Designer Selection Procedures. The Designer's fee will be negotiated for the basic services of the Feasibility Study through the Schematic Design Phase. The resulting contract between the District and the Designer may be amended to include continued Designer Services through design development, construction documents, bid and award, construction and final closeout of the Proposed Project. The estimated total construction costs of an approved Proposed Project may range from $8 million to $10 million depending upon the solution agreed upon by the Owner and the MSBA and ultimately approved by a vote of the MSBA Board of Directors. CP1501, CONTRACT NO. 16-09 TRAFFIC SIGNAL SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS The Office of the City Clerk will receive sealed bids at the Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main Street, Auburn, Washington until 11:00 AM PDT on September 8, 2016, and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud at the City Hall. All bids shall be filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for bid opening. The major items of work include the construction of flashing yellow arrow left turn operations, auxiliary signal heads, signal head backplates with yellow reflective tape, and traffic signal cabinets. The proposed bid range for the project is from $300,000 to $400,000. The entire project, including cleanup, shall be physically completed within 35 working days. This project is funded through a Federal Highway Safety Improvements grant and City of Auburn monies. Requirements stipulated for Federal and other governmental funding have been incorporated into the Contract Documents and require full compliance by the Contractor and any subcontractor hired by the Contractor. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements on this project are 0% certified DBE. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check or proposal bond (surety bond) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal.
